The
Department of commerce, set up in july 2002, is
committed to achieve the mission of facilitating the
development of efficient and effective human
resources required by the business world through
quality education and personal growth. The
Department now offers M.com and Ph.D. programmes. At
present, there are five regular teachers in the
Department. The Department has an exclusive computer
laboratory for the benefit of the students to deal
with computer oriented courses. So far, more than
ten PG students have successfully cleared the
National Education Test(NET) and the State Level
Eligibility Test(SLET). The department has conducted
three industrial tours so far, which enabled the
students to have interface with the reputed
industrial units located in Mumbai, New Delhi,
Kolkata, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Bhubaneshwar. |
