Emoluments: Rs.12, 000 per month + HRA for the first 2
yrs and Rs.14,000+HRA for the 3rd yr. The position is purely on temporary
basis and co-terminus with the project.
Eligibility: M.Sc. in Physics with a
minimum of 55 % marks + NET/GATE qualified.

Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (@ Rs. 12,000+HRA per month) for three years in the Deptt. Of Environmental Science, Mizoram University, under Ministry of Environment & Forests (MoEF), New Delhi funded Research Project entitled ‘Impact of Stone Mining on Water Quality of Tlawng River in Aizawl, Mizoram: Strategy for Management of River through Eco-restoration of Abandoned Mining Areas’. The candidates should have good academic record with M. Sc. in Environmental Science/ Botany/ Forestry/ Bio-technology/ Biodiversity or related subject. The NET qualified candidate having experience in field of water pollution and plant taxonomy will be preferred. The appointment will be on purely temporary basis and co-terminus with the project. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates, if called for interview. The duly completed application together with requisite documents in support of qualification and experience should reach to Dr. B. P.
