ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POST OF PROJECT ASSISTANT IN
THE DEPARTMENT OF BIOTECHNOLGY

Applications are invited for the Post of Project Assistant in the Department of Biotechnology,
Mizoram University, Aizawl under
DST SERC FAST Track Scheme entitled “Diversity Assessment and RAPD-PCR Characterization of Nymphalidae
species of Butterflies and their Implications in Phylogeny and Conservation’.
Duration: Three years.
Positions Available: One - Project Assistant (Emolument: Rs.8,000 per month).
Eligibility: Candidates having First class M.Sc. degree in Biotechnology or Biochemistry or Life Sciences. Experience in
molecular biology techniques and Butterfly research is desirable; Age: below 30 years.
General - Appointment is purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project. The last date for receiving the applications is 12 November 2009.
