Regional Geography of India and the Northeast Region;  Environmental Geography; Social and Political Geography; Cultural Geography of Tribal Communities; Surveying & Mapping and Study Tour.

   
III Semester

Population and Settlement Geography; Resource Planning and Watershed Management with focus on Mizoram; Agricultural Geography; Research methodology and Report Writing; Elements of Aerial Photo and Imagery Interpretation and GIS-1; Practical related Elements of Aerial Photo and Imagery Interpretation and GIS.

   
IV Semester

Regional Development and Spatial Planning; Regional Development and Planning; Integrated Area Planning – District and Block; Rural and Urban landuse Planning; Planning Techniques and Development Models; and Dissertation.
