The Health Centre of Mizoram University came into existence in
July 2001 under the Late Dr D. K. Bahali. The Centre has one
Medical Officer, one Nurse (B.Sc), one Pharmacist, one L.D.C.,
one Dresser, one Peon and one Cleaner. The Centre provides
basic health facility for the students, staff and their
dependants, which include dressing, injections, stitching of
skin and stitch removal, and minor operations, namely abscess
drainage, chalazion removal, syringing etc. Provision for Blood
sugar examination and Blood MP examination is available at the
Health Centre since October 2004. Besides this, Ambulance
service is provided for emergencies during and after office
hours. On an average, the Centre provides services to around 20
- 25 patients each day.

at Tanhril
Wednesday,
Thursday and
Saturday at
Chanmari
Friday at Pachhunga University College.
