        The department was established in the academic session 2006-07 and now offers full time MBA programme. The programme comprises of four semesters during in which the students have to undertake 100 credit papers under CBCS pattern and carry out a project work during summer training on real world problem in a corporate world. This boutique programme is built on the foundation of activity based learning model. Participants in this programme will experience a challenging developmental process which builds character, competency and confidence and fosters the understanding of business and sound judgment. The programme offers an integrated set of skills from the fundamental functional areas within all business to the practical methods of analysis and execution of decision-making to gaining strategic perspective and delivering recommendations. The department offers specialization in four disciplines – Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, and Small Business & Entrepreneurship Development.

Starting from 2014 (August), the Department has started 5 years Integrated Masters in Business Administration (IMBA) having an exit option at the end of 3 years (6th Semester) with an BBA degree.

Objectives of IMBA:

  • Enable young learners develop a business sense
  • Learn principles and practice of management
  • Develop the skill and competence to join the corporate world
  • Equip and enable learners to start a new business venture
  • Accordingly, the programme has a large component of working in real world situations under the careful guidance of mentors.
