Brief Introduction:

The Department of Mizo was opened in the academic year 1997-98 and was formally inaugurated by Prof. B. Pakem(L), the then Vice-Chancellor of the North Eastern Hill University on 4th October, 1997. The Department is at present functioning with one Professor, 2 Readers and 3 Lecturers.
